Merkeley Ventures is a fully integrated, family-owned real estate investment firm focused on acquiring, improving, and managing a diversified portfolio of real assets including multifamily housing, agriculture, self-storage, and land development. Guided by our operating philosophy, “Innovation in Every Investment,” we identify opportunities where disciplined investment strategy, operational excellence, and innovative systems unlock long-term value. The firm manages multifamily properties through its residential living brand, Stadium District Flats, alongside active development and agricultural investments. Through a combination of in-house operations, technology-driven systems, and innovation models, Merkeley Ventures is building a scalable investment platform with a long-term goal of managing more than $100 million in assets under management (AUM) while delivering strong performance for residents, investors, and partners.

Tyler Merkeley
Merkeley Ventures is owned and operated by Tyler Merkeley who maintains a portfolio of distinctive, high-end rental properties across the country.
Originally from the Northwest, Tyler got his start investing in Washington, DC! Tyler has experience building large public private partnerships in health security, building out large residential real estate portfolios, leading land development partnerships and founding local initiatives focused on strengthening the community for all residents.
Building on this vision that all residents should be able to Live, Work and Play Locally, the SDF Team has expanded their residential portfolio by adding new residential communities while continuing to focus on empowering residents and providing exceptionally run residential communities across the country.
In addition to real estate, Tyler manages large public private partnerships in Health Security and leads the Stadium District Scholarship Fund, a fund focused on the educational advancement of residents living in the Southwest Washington, DC community.
